Character/concept: 

This look is a recreation/reinterpretation of makeup artist/artists Juno Burch’s classic drag aesthetic. She creates an “artificial alien” woman by make herself hyper feminine and coloring herself vibrant unnatural colors. For my reinterpretation I added a third eye for my interpretation of an alien. This look is meant to be wearable for all performance types and I think it would translate well to any stage, it would work on camera, and for photo shoots.

Mary Anne is an alien spy who was sent to 2019 America to blend in and spy on the American people, but the information the martians has was dated. The only record of human life they had were 1950 informational videos for household tasks. So that is how they styled “Mary Anne” they gave her bangs to cover her third eye and didn’t think to cover her purple skin because the videos of humans they had were in black and white so they assumed purple people existed. Mary Anne is trying to blend in but obviously she is failing.
